Duane "Pap" Householder passed away on November 27th at The Gables of Canton. Born in Canton, a son of the late Ernest and Pauline (Nigro) Householder. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his 2 sisters Virginia Cappelli and Josephine Slutz. For over 30 years, Duane worked at Timken as a barring specialist, a role he carried out with pride, precision, and an unwavering work ethic. Outside of work, Duane's heart belonged to horsepower. A lifelong car enthusiast, he loved the thrill of engines, chrome, and the open road. In his younger years, he found joy in drag racing, a passion that brought him excitement and a community of friends who shared his love of speed. Even later in life, he never lost that spark. Cars remained a connection to his past and a source of fun stories he loved to tell. More than any hobby or job, Duane treasured his family. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather to many who loved him dearly, he found his greatest happiness in simply being together. He especially cherished the time spent with his in-laws, who were not just extended family but true companions. They traveled together, laughed together, and made countless memories over the years. Some of the most treasured moments were spent renting beach houses or relaxing along the Ohio River. Survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Juanita (Gardner) Householder; daughter, Paula Labriola; 2 sons, Kirk (Sonia) Weber, Troy Weber; 5 grandchildren Madison Labriola, Kathyrine Wolf, Shannon Weber, Emily Weber, Samantha Weber; 3 great-grandchildren, Bryson, Harper, Kaysen; as well as other loving family members and friends.
