Duane Mathison Obituary
Duane C. Mathison, 77, of Brainerd, MN passed away on February 6, 2022, at St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Brainerd. Services will be held on Thursday February 17, 2022, at 5:00pm at the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel in Baxter. There will be a visitation held one hour prior to the service at the Chapel.
Duane was born on February 5, 1945, to Clifford and Melva (Christopherson) Mathison. He worked at Potlatch for 33 years as a crane operator and was proud of his job. Duane always made family a priority, as they were all very important to him.
He is survived by his son Josh (Joey Yokubaitis) Mathison, his daughter Cassie (Derik Brenny) Mathison, his grandchildren Zoey and Aiden, stepchildren Lisa (Kent) Larson, Gaylan (Marlene) Pegel Jr., and Mindy (Eric) Nelson, his numerous step-grandchildren, his sisters Marilyn (Bob) Brietling, Kathy (Skip) Rudquist and Kristi Mathison.
Duane is preceded in death by his parents.
Arrangements are entrusted to Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Baxter.
