Born on February 19, 1955, in Brown City, Michigan, to George and Claudette Park, Duane grew into a man known for his quiet strength, steady hands, and generous heart. A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, he had a remarkable gift for fixing anything he set his hands on. He was also a passionate coin and stamp collector, finding peace and enjoyment in his hobbies.
After many dedicated years of hard work, Duane retired from Champion Bus, where he was known for his reliability and craftsmanship.
Duane is survived by his loving wife, Victoria; his daughter Marcie (Eric) Houck; and his cherished grandsons, Nolan and Evan Houck, who were the greatest joy of his life. He is also survived by his brothers Dan (Trina) Park and David (Shellie) Park.
He is preceded in death by his daughter Lacey Rae; his sisters Diane Moak and Debbie Davis; his brother Georgie Park; and his parents George and Claudette Park.
In keeping with Duane's wishes, cremation has taken place.
Duane will be remembered for his unwavering kindness, his love for family, and his ability to fix both broken things and broken moments. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
