Ronald Frank "Ron" Lentz

Ronald Frank Lentz, 73, of Marlette, passed away on Friday, October 10, 2025, at United Hospice of Aspire Marlette.

Ron was born on May 16, 1952 in Pontiac, Michigan to the late Robert and Alice (Leonard) Lentz. He attended Milford High School and graduated with the Class of 1970. Ron married his wife Cathy on August 15, 2015. He was a devoted Christian man whose kindness and generosity touched the lives of all who knew him. A proud member of Hope Church, Ron mentored many throughout his life, guiding others with wisdom, patience, and love. Ron cherished his family and friends above all else, always making time for those he loved. Whether lending a helping hand or sharing a laugh, Ron made everyone feel loved and cared for. He found joy in life's simple pleasures – mowing lawns, admiring classic cars, and listening to classic rock bands such as Pink Floyd and REO Speedwagon. Some of Ron's happiest moments were spent around a bonfire with good friends, good music, and good times.

Ron is survived by his wife, Cathy Lentz; children, Robert (Meranda) Lentz, Alison Calhoun, and Courtney Farmer; grandchildren, Jarod (Kendall), Abigail (Devon), Emma, Isaac, Devin, Conner, Alana (Trevor), Nolan, Ian, and Skylar; great-grandchild, Lily; brother, Larry Lentz; and step-siblings, Robin, Joan, Janet, and Andy.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Robert, Richie, and Lois; and his step-brother, Tony.

A memorial will held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 16, 2025 at Hope Church, 3021 Main St., Marlette, Michigan with Pastor Paul Rohling officiating.
