Mr. Collins was born on June 29, 1955 in Surry County to Duke Collins Sr. and Marie Collins Westmoreland. He attended East Surry High School and then went on to play semi-pro baseball. Mr. Collins was a plumber for 53 years.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years Tina Hall Collins of the home; two sons Charles Bradley Collins of Mount Airy and Jared Scott Collins of the home; his mother Marie Westmoreland; a brother Robin Erice Westmoreland; two granddaughters Breanna May Collins and Syden Paige Collins; and a great- grandson Brandon Scott Collins.
Mr. Collins was preceded in death by his father Duke Collins Sr.
A memorial service for Mr. Collins will be held on Friday May 23, 2025 at 2pm at Johnson Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Hall officiating.
