Duncan MacLauchlan Gale Obituary

Published by Legacy on Aug. 3, 2023.
Our beautiful boy has left us far too soon.
Beyond beloved by his parents Carol MacLauchlan and Watson Gale, his siblings Emma (Stuart), Keltie (Ross) and Lauchlan (Morgan), and his special 'nieceling' Aisling and nephew Malcolm. Also deeply loved by aunts and uncles and special godparents Mike and Di Leuty and Carolyn Hill and Bob Atkinson.
Duncan leaves a legacy of love with his family, a broad group of friends, and anyone he met along the way, who instantly became a friend. His fun, presence, kindness and smile will be remembered with love by his many communities, including Lisgar, his TKE fraternity at Carleton, the Glebe and many more.
While he brought joy to everyone around him, he was unable to find it for himself and ended his time with us far, far too soon. Although we are heartbroken, we ask that you remember the smile. Remember the energy. Remember the joy. Remember how he made you feel. Remember the huge hugs. Remember Duncan.
Visitation at Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod St, Ottawa, Friday August 4, 2023, 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00, and service at Hulse, Playfair and McGarry on Saturday August 5, 2023, 1:00 pm, reception to follow.
