Dustin Gregory Barrett, age 46, of Marion, died Saturday, November 2, 2024, at the Baptist Memorial Hospital Crittenden, in West Memphis. His death came sudden and unexpected.
Mr. Barrett was born October 15, 1978, in Mineola, New York, and was the son of Gary Lynn Barrett and Veronica Theresa Galgano Barrett Vito. He lived in Marion for the past two years, was an employee of the Forrest City Correctional Institution of Forrest City, was a Veteran of the Army, and attended the First Baptist Church of Marion.
Dustin touched the lives of many with his gift of service to others, and he leaves many joyful memories for his family, friends, coworkers, and military brothers.
Mr. Barrett married Talia Gale in 2014, and she survives him along with one daughter, Brooklyn Barrett of the home, one son, Linken Barrett of Harrisburg, his mother, Veronica Vito of New Jersey, and one brother, Frankie Galgano of Paragould.
Visitation will be held at Kernodle Funeral Home, Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at 10:00 A.M., followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00 A.M.. Burial will follow at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, Birdeye, Arkansas. Kernodle Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. You may log on to Kernodlefh.com for the online registry.
