Ricky Allen Loyd, 63, of Wynne, Arkansas, passed away surrounded by family and loved ones. Known for his quick wit, mechanical skills, and generous heart, Ricky left a lasting impact on all who knew him. A retired civil engineer for Pine Bluff Sand & Gravel, Ricky had a lifelong love of working with his hands. Whether repairing cars or fixing just about anything else, Ricky was the person family and friends turned to when something broke; always with his signature reassurance: "Everything is going to be OK" He is survived by his devoted wife of 36 years, Valeta Loyd; his children April Seely (Ben), Travis Loyd (Tiffany), Gayle Lafever (Matt), Zach Denevan (Emily), Justin Denevan (Katie), and Shana Davis (Kalinn); numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his mother, Thelma Jean Loyd; and siblings Harold Loyd (Sherry), Dianna Sisk (Lance), Tammy Goodman, and Sherry Patton (Chris). He was preceded in death by his son, Timothy Allen Loyd; his father, Charles Roland Loyd; his brother, Daniel Wayne Loyd; and his paternal grandparents White & Hazel Loyd and maternal grandparents, Ben & Clara Moore Ricky's memory lives on in the laughter, stories, and love he gave so freely. He was very passionate about serving others and wanting everyone to know how important family and friends are in life! A celebration of life will be held at The Delta Gin, 1493 Highway 163 Wynne, AR 72396, on Sunday August 10th, 2025, at 2pm and gathering for family and friends afterwards. Memorials can be made to Cancer or Heart Foundation or the charity of your choice.
