Dustin Freeman Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Bolton Funeral Home - Columbiana on Oct. 2, 2025.
Dustin Shane Freeman, age 41, passed away on September 30, 2025. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at Old Chapel Cemetery at 11:00 AM. Bro. David Holmes is presiding and Bolton Funeral Home is directing. Dustin was born on April 2, 1984 to Glenda (Abbott) Freeman. He was a 2002 graduate of Shelby County High School. Dustin was a hard worker who loved Alabama football, outdoor camping, music, and walking on the beach. Dustin's most loyal and faithful companion to the end was a German Shepherd named Loki Bear, who he loved so much and will greatly miss him. Dustin loved his family and his friends. He loved his brother, Dallas, most of all. Dustin just had that special something in him that all of us could see. Please sign online condolences at www.boltonfuneralhome.com.

I wanted to pay my respects and offer my sincerest condolences to the family of Dusty. I attended Wilsonville Elementary School, Columbiana Middle & Shelby County High School with him. I graduated a year prior to his graduation. Even though life had different circumstances in store for us, I still considered Dusty a friend. He was a kind person who always seemed to care about others well being.
