Mr. Dustin Terry Hill, age 35, of Claudville, Virginia passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 27, 2025. He was born in Surry County on October 17, 1989, to Terry Hill and Melinda Edwards Hill. Dustin was a loving husband, father, son and sibling, he’ll be deeply missed by the many blessed to have known him. He was man of all traits, whether he was coaching his kids ball teams, lending a helping hand within the community or tending to his prized farm animals. He loved his church family and faithfully attended Hills Grove Baptist Church in Claudville, Virginia. The most important thing to Mr. Hill was being a husband, and even more importantly a father to his five wonderful children. Surviving Mr. Hill is his loving wife, Donna Drewery; children, Jay, Early, Chipp, Yumi, and Saki Hill; parents, Terry and Melinda Hill; sister, Delinda Hill and Dean Smith; brothers, Devin Hill and Haley Hunt, Harvey Lee Edwards, Jr., and Jess Edwards. Mr. Hill was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Julie; maternal grandparents, Harvey and Linda Edwards; paternal grandparents, William and Glenda Hill; uncle, Harvey Lee Edwards. A celebration of Mr. Hill’s life will be held on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Hills Grove Baptist Church in Claudville, Virginia, with the Rev. Michael Smith officiating. A burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at Moody Funeral Home in Mount Airy from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Flowers will be accepted, or memorial donations may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Moodys of Mount Airy is respectfully serving the Hill family.
