MIDLAND CITY… Dustin Lee Letcher, a resident of Midland City, Alabama, passed away Sunday morning, November 30, 2025, at his home. He was 39.
There are no public services at this time.
Dustin was born in Roanoke, Virginia, to Gary Aubrey Letcher and Karen Henderson. He graduated from Northside High School and later dedicated himself to caring for others as an in-home caregiver. Dustin enjoyed playing video games and was an avid Star Wars fan with an impressive collection to match. A true movie buff, he collected films and shared that passion with his dad, who was also his closest friend.
Dustin is preceded in death by his grandparents, Aubrey Thor Letcher and Barbara Ann Miller; Aunt Tammy Hale; Uncle James Henry Hale III and his fur baby of eighteen years, Katy.
Surviving relatives include his aunts, Sherry Taylor (Terry), Cindy Burford (Tim), Deborah Kendrick (Kelly); step sister, Kayla Childress and step brother, Keith Childress; cousins, Heather Clem (Rich), Ashley Camper (Jason), James L. Hale, Chris Taylor (Sam), T.J. Taylor (Rebecca), Kimberly McCombs (Chuck), Jasmine Koch (Ryan), Moon Koch, Holland Taylor, Paetyn Taylor, Ericka Taylor, Hunner Taylor, Amberleigh Taylor, Charlee McCombs, Emmett McCombs, Katie Clem, Gage Reed, Hayleigh Hippensteel, Malakai Jeffries, and Josiah Hippensteel; Very dear friends Hank Packer and Melissa Honeycutt of Sylacauga; many more loving cousins and friends.
