GARY AUBREY LETCHER
MIDLAND CITY… Gary Aubrey Letcher, a resident of Midland City, Alabama, passed away Sunday morning, November 30, 2025, at his home. He was 62.
There are no public services at this time.
Gary was born in Alexandria, Virginia, to the late Aubrey Thor Letcher and Barbara Ann Miller. He attended school locally before beginning a long career as a truck driver. He proudly served in the Army National Guard. Gary loved riding his bicycle and was an avid Star Wars fan and collector. A true movie enthusiast, he enjoyed watching films and sharing that passion with his son and best friend, Dustin.
In addition to his parents, Gary is preceded in death by his son Dustin; sister, Tammy Hale; brother, James Henry Hale III and fur baby of eighteen years, Katy.
Surviving relatives include his sisters, Sherry Taylor (Terry), Cindy Burford (Tim), Deborah Kendrick (Kelly); nieces, Heather Clem (Rich), Ashley Camper (Jason), Kimberly McCombs (Chuck); nephews, Chris Taylor (Sam), T.J. Taylor (Rebecca),James L. Hale; great nieces, Jasmine Koch (Ryan), Moon Koch, Charlee McCombs, Katie Clem, Holland Taylor, Paetyn Taylor, Ericka Taylor, Hunner Taylor, Amberleigh Taylor and Hayleigh Hippensteel; great nephews, Emmett McCombs and Gage Reed; great-great-nephews, Malakai Jeffries and Josiah Hippensteel; very dear friends Hank Packer and Melissa Honeycutt from Sylacauga ; many more loving cousins and friends.
