Born on April 8, 1949 in Hyderabad, India to parents Krishnarao and Susilabai Mirmira, Dwarak was known for his larger-than-life personality. He earned his Masters in Biology as well as a Masters in Business Administration. He embraced life with open arms, bringing joy and laughter wherever he went. His warmth and generosity of spirit touched the hearts of everyone he encountered.
Dwarak had a passion for traveling the world, tending to his beautiful garden, and remaining eternally optimistic about Chicago sports. He shared this boundless enthusiasm with those around him, throwing himself into every endeavor with vigor and energy. He had a unique ability to make people feel valued and appreciated, always offering a listening ear, comforting word, or classic dad joke. He laughed, infectiously and often, and his spirit will live on in the countless memories we hold dear.
He is survived by his loving wife, Uma, sons Ajay and Arjun, and siblings Govindrao, Ramarao, Srinivasvithal, Badrinath, and Kusumabai, along with many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.
A visitation and celebration of Dwarak's life will be held on September 26, 2024 from 9:30-11:00 AM at Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Homes & Crematory (24021 Royal Worlington Dr, Naperville, IL 60564.

Dwarak's and my friendship began in 1987 when I came to Chicago with my family. We spent 3 years together sharing quality time together. We enjoyed bantering,arguing,discussing anything and everything and laughing a lot. We had been away from each other.for nearly 25 years but this.has never dimmed our friendship. Now is the.saddest part. We will never meet. May his soul rest in peace. Every one will miss his sunny personality,infectious laughter and generous nature. One question Dwarak...who will support Chicago Bears??? My heartfelt condolences to Uma,Ajay,Arjun and his extended family.

When Jairam and I landed in Chicago together with our daughtr Smita in July 1987,one of the first friends we made were Dwarak and Uma. And it was the start of a beautiful journey of friendship and affection. Dwarak was there for us all the time to guide us,to help us and to support us. His home was our second home and vice versa. The three years we were there were very memorable, spending a lot of time together with Dwarak ,Uma and Ajay.We remember Dwarak and always will as a vibrant personality,full of life,jokes and fun. After nrarly 25 years we met him briefly at Kuala Lumpur International Airport and never did we realise that would be the last we would see him. Our heart aches to think you are no more. Our heartfelt condolences to Uma,Ajay and Arjun. May his soul rest in peace and may God give all his beloved ones the courage to go on with life without him. Farewell dear Dwarak.

Thank you for being among our first friends when my family and I arrived in the US in 1987. Thank you for being there for my parents - their first time so far away from home and with a precocious 6-yr-old (me), supporting them, helping us settle in, and forming a lifelong friendship that eventually transcends boundaries when we left the US. I´m so sorry we never crossed paths again - I´ll always remember your jovial character and what a great dad you were to Ajay, and a wonderful uncle to me. All the times we spent at your home and your family at ours and our joint family trips, I remember them well. I´m attaching a photo my mum sent me today - it´s me with you at the airport when we left the US for good. I remember you comforting me on the drive there that it will all be ok and not to be sad to be leaving. Rest well, Dwarak Uncle. You are missed. Love, Smita Jairam
