It is with heavy hearts and immeasurable love that we announce the unexpected passing of Lawrence "Larry" Anthony Klasinski, age 79, of Aurora, Illinois on Monday, July 21, 2025. A man of unwavering devotion, gentle strength, and quiet sacrifice, Larry was the epitome of what it means to be a family man. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and was a devoted parishioner of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Aurora.

Larry's life was a living testament to love in action. To his children and grandchildren, he was not only a provider and protector, but their greatest champion. He celebrated their victories with pride, supported them in their challenges with grace, and made sure they never doubted how deeply they were loved. His children and grandchildren were his world, and he was theirs.

Larry also held his extended family close, maintaining lifelong bonds with his many cousins, who were more like siblings. He had a special place in his heart for his last remaining aunts, Jeanie Stroik, Helen Grzybowski and Madeline Klasinski, whom he cared for with great tenderness and respect. Whether it was a regular phone call, a thoughtful card, or small act of generosity, Larry made sure they felt remembered, valued, and deeply loved. His devotion to them was just another reflection of his deeply rooted family values.

Larry enjoyed a long life of incredible travel, golfing, family gatherings (including the infamous Polish Eating Club), and was an avid reader.

Larry is survived by his children, Angellica (Michael) Klasinski-Ahng, Lee Klasinski, and Tonya Klasinski; his beloved grandchildren, Hunter Ahng, Hayden Ahng, Connor Klasinski, Hannah Klasinski, and Emma Klasinski; his brother, Fred (Corine) Klasinski; niece, Alex Klasinski; and nephew, Shaun Ranger. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patrice Klasinski.

Visitation will be held on Monday, July 28, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Beidelman-Kunsch Funeral Homes & Crematory, 24021 Royal Worlington Drive, Naperville, Illinois. Additional visitation will take place on Tuesday, July 29, at 9:00 a.m. processing to a 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, 701 S. Eola Road, Aurora. Interment will follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, Illinois.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you remember Larry by spending time with those you love and by practicing a small act of kindness in his memory. Memorial contributions in Larry's name may be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation or the Wounded Warrior Project.

He gave everything to his family-and in doing so, gave us everything we ever needed.

I was very sorry to read this news today. Larry was one of a kind. I will miss our biweekly conversations and all of his amazing stories. He had a big heart and a great eye for a good deal! He lived a full life but it was still too short.

Angie, Mike, Hunter, Hayden, deepest sympathy at your loss.

Larry, you left us too soon! We know that since you now are in a better place, maybe you can do something to help the Bears beat the Packers this season!
