It is with heavy hearts the family of Dwight Entner announces his passing on April 16, 2025. Dwight was born on April 3, 1945, in Strasbourg, Saskatchewan.
Dwight’s achievements include graduating with a diploma at the University of Saskatchewan School of Agriculture, earning a scholarship in his first year due to top academic achievement. He continued learning throughout his life, studying real estate, appraisal and business. He was an exceptional outdoorsman and pursued his love for the outdoors through many activities, including working with horses, hunting, fishing, kayaking, camping, skiing and golfing, while also sharing these wonderful experiences with friends and family.
Dwight was not only a man of many interests but also blessed with a great sense of humor that brightened the lives of those around him. His adventurous nature and engaging personality left an indelible mark on his family and friends, who will remember him fondly for both his wisdom and wit.
Dwight is survived by his loving partner Cheryl Olson, as well as his beloved daughters, Shauna Wagner of Canmore, AB, and Michelle Jaciubek of Castlegar, BC, and their children. He was preceded in death by his mother, Gladys Entner (née Fuller), his father, Frank Entner, and his sister, Diane Lindquist.
As we celebrate Dwight’s remarkable life, we remember a man who not only pursued his passions but also shared them with others, creating lasting memories with his family and friends. His legacy of adventurousness, wisdom, kindness and humor will forever resonate in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
