Dwight C. Kramer

Dwight C. Kramer, 77, of Ocean View, Delaware, formerly of Downingtown, passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at Delaware Hospice in Milford, Delaware. He was the beloved husband of Nancy (Hale) Kramer.

Born in 1948 in Grosse Pointe, Michigan, he was the son of the late Charles and Opal Kramer.

Dwight was a graduate of Royal Oak Kimball High School, where he was a member of the football and tennis teams. He earned a B.S. in Metallurgical Engineering from Michigan State University in 1971 and was a member of the United States Army Reserve from 1971-1977. Dwight worked in the petroleum industry for 40 years, 20 at Sun Oil and 20 at BP. Dwight retired in 2012, and he and Nancy moved permanently to Ocean View, Delaware in 2020.

Dwight's interests included home remodeling, landscaping, painting, stained glass, framing, art collection, travel, reading, crossword puzzles, and watching Looney Tunes and SpongeBob SquarePants with his children and grandchildren. His family was just as likely to find him with a hammer in his hand as they were a book.

In addition to his wife, Dwight is survived by two daughters, Katie Dede (Scott) and Amanda Miller (Mark); four grandsons, Bryan, Michael, David, and Benjamin; and by two sisters, Linda Monicatti and Janet Olson (Greg).

He was predeceased by his brother, Gerald Kramer.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 29, 2025 at the James J. Terry Funeral Home, 736 E. Lancaster Avenue, Downingtown. Family and friends will be received from 9:45-10:45 a.m.

Interment will be private with the family.
