Dwight Lang was born on December 7, 1956, and passed away on December 30, 2025, at Edgewood Assisted Living Nursing Home due to medical complications.
He was one of fourteen children born to John and Viola Lang, growing up alongside six brothers and seven sisters. Dwight was raised in Sterling, ND, where he also attended school.
Dwight enjoyed fishing, gambling, and meeting up with people to BS at a truck stop, restaurant, or bar. He always had a story to share and never missed a chance for good conversation and laughter.
The family invites everyone to celebrate Dwight’s life in their own way. This weekend, take time to do some of Dwight’s favorite things—have a beer at one of his go-to places, go to the casino, or stop by a truck stop and BS with someone in his memory.
His stories and his laugh will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Rest Easy Dwight
