Dwight Linder Obituary
Dwight grew up in Queens, NY and on the Great Peconic Bay of Long Island. He graduated from Harpur College and from the Watson School of Engineering. For many years, and especially since retiring as a systems engineer, he enjoyed working on his beloved summer home on Cayuga Lake, fishing and boating the amazing New York State Canal System.
He is survived by his wife, Helene; their daughter, Andrea Scott Linder; his grandchildren, Corey and Chelsea Snyder; one sister; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, five brothers and one sister.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday August 4, 2022, from 1:00-2:00 pm at Covert Funeral Home, 7199 Main Street, Ovid NY. Burial will immediately follow at Fairview Cemetery of Sheldrake, near the lake of course.
