Dylan Darby Obituary
Dylan entered eternal rest on May 8, 2023, at Citizens Medical Center in Victoria, Texas.
A visitation will take place at the funeral home in New Iberia on Thursday from 2:00 pm to 5:30 pm.
Dylan was a proud 2018 graduate of Calhoun High School in Port Lavaca, Tx. He was a video gaming enthusiast. His absolute favorite game to play was Dragon Ball Z. He was also an avid fan of playing Pokémon, Halo, Call of Duty, and Fort Nite.
He also really enjoyed drinking his coffee regardless of the time of day or night. Should the coffee not be ready, he settled for a nice glass of caffeinated soda.
As a good-natured young man Dylan was a friend to all. He was always ready with a firm handshake and a loving hug no matter the number of times he saw family or friends in a single day. Helping and giving of himself to those he loved brought Dylan great joy and satisfaction.
Dylan is survived by his father, Andrew Darby (Sandra) of Port Lavaca and his mother, Christine Ann Oubre of New Iberia. Brothers, Blake Darby and his wife Krystian of New Iberia, Brian De La Garza (Brittney) of Texas, Jeremy De La Garza (Jerrica) of Texas, and Dwayne Kovarek (Brittnie) of Loreauville, LA
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Jay and Dot Oubre of New Iberia. Fraternal grandparents Monroe and Gladys Darby of New Iberia.
