In Loving Memory of Dylan Robert Harvey
December 30, 1995 – December 8, 2024
With heavy hearts and profound sadness, we announce the passing of Dylan Robert Harvey on December 8, 2024. Dylan was a free spirit who lived life to the fullest and brought joy and laughter to all those around him. He had an immense love for his family, friends, and the simple pleasures of life.
Dylan is survived by his loving girlfriend, Aedrianna Morales of Meriden, Kansas, and his devoted family: his parents, Jeff and Melinda Herrig of Ozawkie, Kansas, and Carl Harvey of Meriden, Kansas. He also leaves behind his five sisters: Britni (Logan) Harvey of Meriden, Kansas, Bailey (Bryce) Harvey of Ozawkie, Kansas, Sierra Rice of Topeka, Kansas, Heather Herrig of Leavenworth, Kansas, and Macie (Francisco) Herrig of Kansas City, Kansas. He is also survived by his three brothers: Cody (Nikki) Harvey of Topeka, Kansas, Conner Harvey of Topeka, Kansas, and Brandon (Joey) Herrig of Tonganoxie, Kansas. Dylan adored his seven nieces and ten nephews, and he was a proud and loving uncle. He is also survived by his grandmothers, Sue Stebbins, Marcia Harvey, Margaret Bardroff, and Mickie Herrig, his grandpa, Tom Herrig as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who were lucky to know him. Dylan was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Lyle Stebbins, Gerald Harvey, and Karl Bardroff.
Dylan graduated in 2014 from Jeff West High School. He was a dedicated worker at Fit Construction, where he found joy in operating equipment and taking on any challenge that came his way. Dylan's love for life was matched only by his passion for the things that made him happiest: his love for Ford trucks, riding bikes, golfing, and his dog, Stella, who was always by his side. His spirit and energy were contagious, and he never missed an opportunity to create lasting memories with those he loved.
Dylan's heart was big, and his love for America, his people, and the world around him shone brightly. He had a natural talent for making others laugh and bringing people together. His zest for life, his sense of humor, and his genuine care for others will never be forgotten.
A Celebration of Dylan's life will be held to honor the joy he brought to all of us. Please join us December 21, 2024 at 10:00 am at the Woodshed Event Center. 1901 N. Kansas Ave., Topeka Kansas. Following service, Inurnment will be at Meriden Cemetery 600-612 Condray St, Meriden, Ks. Lunch will then be provided back at the Woodshed. Though he may no longer be with us physically, his legacy of love, laughter, and living fully will continue to inspire us every day.
Rest in peace, Dylan. You will be deeply missed, but your light will always shine brightly in our hearts.
