Dylan Nathan Sobczak, born on December 6, 1991, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, passed away on April 21, 2025, in Cudahy, Wisconsin, after a courageous battle with a rare form of cancer. His departure leaves a profound void in the hearts of all who knew him.
Dylan was a talented diesel mechanic, dedicating his skills and expertise to his craft. Beyond his professional life, he was celebrated for his gentle and kind spirit, always putting others before himself. This selflessness was at the heart of his character, making him a treasured companion, husband, father, and friend.
He graduated from Oak Creek High School, where he met his high school sweetheart and beloved wife, Rebecca Sobczak. Their love bore two beautiful daughters, Alice and Iris, who were undoubtedly among his proudest accomplishments. Dylan treasured every moment spent with his family, embracing the joys of parenthood with an unwavering commitment to nurturing and supporting his children.
Dylan is lovingly survived by his wife Rebecca Sobczak; cherished daughters Alice and Iris Sobczak; and dear parents Anthony and Nancy Sobczak. Beloved son in law of Mark and Julie Shandley. He was the devoted brother of Matthew and Graisyn Sobczak, and a caring brother-in-law to Emily (James) Hicks and Danielle Shandley. Additionally, he was a loving uncle to his nieces, including Aubrey Sobczak, Lana Hicks, and Gweneth Hicks. Dear God son and nephew of Pattie Psuik.
Preceding him in death are both sets of his cherished grandparents.
In addition to his professional life, Dylan enjoyed video games, cooking, fishing, and playing Dungeons and Dragons, pursuits that brought him immense joy and fostered lasting friendships. It is through these memories that he will continue to live on in the hearts of his loved ones.
A memorial gathering to honor Dylan's life will take place on April 27, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by a celebration of life from 1:00 PM. Both events will be held at Max A. Sass & Sons Funeral and Cremation South Shore Chapel, located at 1314 Manitoba Ave, South Milwaukee, WI 53172. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to the family.
Dylan left an indelible impact he had on everyone around him will be cherished and remembered forever.
