E. Kathleen Van Wie

E. Kathleen (Dullen) VanWie, 82, of Baldwinsville, passed away Sunday surrounded by her family. She was born on September 17, 1941 in Auburn, NY to the late Gene and Emma (Van Sickle) Dullen and lived most of her life in Baldwinsville where she graduated from Baldwinsville Highschool Class of 1959, and met her husband of over 60 years, Floyd A.
Kathy was employed at Dey Brothers Department Store and was a bus attendant for the Baldwinsville School District. She was an active member of the Betsy Baldwin DAR for 48 years, a life member of the Mayflower Society, and an active member of the Baldwinsville Methodist Church. After retirement, Kathy enjoyed spending winters in Florida and loved spending time with her family.
Surviving are her husband, Floyd A.; sons, Eric (Deborah), David (LouAnn); daughter, Maureen (Dave) Van Slyke; sister, Sandra Lundgren; brother, Dan Dullen; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Calling hours will be held Thursday, January 11, from 4-7 PM at the Baldwinsville First United Methodist Church, 17 W. Genesee St., Baldwinsville. A funeral service will be held Friday, January 12, 10 AM at the church.
