Mr. White was born on August 28, 1951, to the late Tom W. White and Nellie Lewis White of Moultrie, Georgia. Mr. White was a humble and hard-working man whose love for his family and friends ran deep. His deepest love and pride were family, especially his two grandchildren, Gracie and Mason. He loved spending time fishing at his and his wife, Corlis, beloved house at Lake Talquin with Heath and Mason, as well as his dear friends. He loved quietly but fiercely, especially aiding Gracie with her mission work and furthering her education in the field of medicine. He took great pride in supporting Mason’s pursuit of his love of tournament bass fishing, from escorting him during high school to his tournaments to cheering him on in his tournament trail today.
Mr. White dedicated 49 years of his life to the mobile home business, with most of those years being employed by Destiny Industries, where he worked his way up to production manager of the plant.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Betty Manders, Nell Henderson, Patsy Johnson, and Virginia Taylor.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Corlis; his son Heath and wife Beth; granddaughter, Gracie; and grandson, Mason, all of Moultrie. In addition to his immediate family, Mr. White is survived by three sisters, Ann Conger of Tifton, Shirley Kerper of Ashburn, and Katie Merle Kitchens and husband Gerald of Moultrie. Mr. White was loved by so many dear friends and employees.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Humane Society of Moultrie.
The family will gather at the home of Mr. and Mrs. White.
