Earl Allen, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2025, at the age of 85. He was born on May 20, 1940, in Clay County, Kentucky, to the late Clay and Julia Allen.
Earl is survived by his loving wife of over 65 years, Faye (Farmer) Allen; his son, Joe Allen; and his Daughter, Tami Allen. He cherished the moments spent with his grandchildren, Abbie (Drew) McKee, Ben Allen, and Julia (Evan) Michel, and he took immense joy in the laughter of his great-grandchildren, Madison and Annabelle McKee. Earl was one of 11 children, and his deep family bonds were a testament to his unwavering love and commitment to those he held dear.
A man of strong faith, Earl was a devoted member of the Owensville Church of Christ. For more than 58 years, he served as a dedicated Mason in Yeatman Lodge 162 and was also a proud member of the Scottish Rite. His lifelong commitment to service made him a true pillar of the community, remembered for the kindness and warmth he shared with everyone he met.
He found joy in the simple pleasures of life-gardening, bluegrass music, fishing, and hunting-embodying the spirit of a true nature lover. Earl also had a passion for travel, visiting all 50 states at least once, many multiple times.
As we reflect on the profound impact Earl had on all who knew him, we celebrate a life well-lived, rich with love, laughter, and legacy. His spirit will continue to inspire those he loved, guiding them from above.
Friends and family will gather to honor Earl's life on November 26, 2025. A visitation will take place at Evans Funeral Home in Goshen 1944 State Route 128), beginning at 10:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. Interment will occur at Stonelick Township Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Shriners Hospital for Children, remembering Earl's compassionate heart and his desire to help those in need.
