Carolyn Louise Miller, beloved daughter, sister, mother, and friend, passed away peacefully from natural causes on November 6, 2025, at the age of 86. Born on September 12, 1939, in Baltimore, Maryland, to the late Bryan and Elizabeth (nee Allen) Widmyer.
Carolyn was the heart of her family, cherishing every moment spent with her loved ones. She took great joy in going to church and serving the Lord. She loved to cook and host family dinners, bringing everyone together with her delicious meals and warm hospitality. Her refined taste and appreciation for beauty extended to her passion for collecting antiques, which she showcased throughout her home.
Carolyn was not only known for her elegance and class but also for her kindness and generosity. She was a sweet and thoughtful soul, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. Her compassion and selflessness left a lasting impact on all whom she encountered.
Carolyn was the loving mother of Walter S. (Brenda) Miller, Robin G. (late James) Farquer, and Shannon Taylor; Cherished grandma of Joshua (Caroline) Owens, Amie Owens, Tiffany (Matt) Singleton, Bobby (Amanda) Taylor, and the late Scott (Kristy) Miller; Great-grandmother of Logan, Julia, Taylor, Alexis, Elisha, Kylin, Michael, Robi, Sofie, Silas, Ivy, and Isaac; Great great grandmother of many; Dear sister of Sharon (Bill) Scholl, Joseph (Bonnie) Widmyer, Johnny (Nicole) Widmyer, and the late Geneva (Bob) Wittmeyer.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Graceland Memorial Gardens in the chapel. Funeral service will begin at 12:00 PM. Memorial donations can be made in Carolyn's name to Hospice of Cincinnati or any addiction centers/foundations of your choosing.
