Earl Chavis Obituary
Mr. Chavis was a native of Robeson County and Rennert was his home. He had many chances to leave Rennert, but he never did. Earl was a brick layer by trade. He learned to lay bricks from his older brother, Dannie.
Mr. Chavis gave his testimony on February 19th, 2023, at Wakulla Mission to Pastor Barkley and to God, who knows his heart.
Mr. Chavis was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Donnie Lee Locklear, Troy Chavis, Robert Lee Chavis, and Don "JoJo" Chavis (whom he loved so much, he was in a hurry to see him again); two sisters, Linda Jones (Dean) of Shannon, NC and Catherine Deese and (Allen) of Red Springs, NC; two brothers, Jerry Chavis and (Gomer) of Jacksonville, NC; Darnell Chavis (Janice) of Rennert; special nephews, Robert Earl Chavis and Keithan Chavis; and a host of family and friends.
