Jerrel Lennon Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Revels Funeral Home - Lumberton on Feb. 18, 2026.
Jerrelann Richardson Lennon, age 79, of Lumberton, North Carolina, entered her heavenly home surrounded by the legacy of love she built throughout her life. Born on September 20, 1946, in Lumberton, Jerrelann was the cherished daughter of Vollie E. Richardson and Thethis N. Richardson.

In 1961, she married the love of her life, Preston D. Lennon. Together they shared 56 beautiful years of marriage. Lumberton was not just where they lived - it was where they raised their children, nurtured friendships, and created a lifetime of memories.

Jerrelann was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Preston D. Lennon; her parents, Vollie and Thethis Richardson; her brother, Willie F. Richardson; and her sisters, Jeanette R. Bryan and Mabel R. Hardin.

A dedicated and hardworking woman, Jerrelann retired from Graphic Packaging after years of faithful service. Outside of work, she found joy in life's simple pleasures - trips to the beach, peaceful days fishing, and tending lovingly to her garden.

Jerrelann leaves behind a beautiful legacy in her children: daughters Rhonda Bruce (Kim) of Lumberton, Gloria Hardin of Lumberton, and Debra Jackson (Ronnie) of Georgetown, South Carolina; sons Tracy Lennon (Donna) of Orrum and Stacy Lennon of Lumberton; and sister Geneva Anderson of Naples, Florida.

Jerrelann was blessed with 19 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren, each of whom carries a piece of her strength, warmth, and enduring love. She also leaves behind several cherished nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart.

The family would like to express their sincerest gratitude to Liberty Hospice, as well as private providers, Megan Britt and Braxton, who provided exceptional love and care for our mother, sister, and grandmother.
