Earl D. Colvin passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Earl was born in Poteau, Oklahoma, on September 27, 1943, to William and Elizabeth (Fannon) Colvin. He was a California resident for 75 years of the 82 years of his life. He became a Welding Engineer with Union Carbide/Praxair where he spent 44 years. He was a pioneer in his field and received patents that changed the way welding was done and received many other business awards.

Earl was married to his wife, Diana, for 60 years, who survives him. He is also survived by his and Diana's son, Dan and his wife Tami, two grandchildren, Matthew Colvin and Ashley Crook and seven grandchildren.

Graveside service will be at 11am, Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at Roselawn Memorial Park, 3801 Roselawn Drive, Denton, Texas 76207.
