Earl Creer Obituary
Earl was born on April 8, 1934, in El Dorado, Arkansas to Earl O. Creer, Sr. and Mary Lee Creer. The Creer Family moved to Richmond, California when Earl was a young boy, where he lived with his parents and siblings, Robert, Gwen, Johnny and Hosea. In 1969, Earl married the love of his life, Maria, and together, they built a beautiful family, raising their children, Eric Leon and Mary Mercelete (Merci) in Richmond. Earl was a devoted father in law to Sharon and Michael Sr., grandfather to Dominique, Eric Jr., Madelyn, and Michael Jr., and favorite uncle to his many nieces, nephews, cousins and other loved ones.
Earl built a life marked by dedication and success. He owned and operated a thriving financial planning and tax preparation business for over 40 years, helping countless individuals and families navigate their financial futures with confidence. His expertise and commitment to his work earned him the trust and respect of many.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Earl found his greatest joy in being surrounded by family, enjoying football, boxing, travel, and serving up barbecue, humor and a good time for family and friends.
A funeral service will be held on February 28, 2025, at Saint Columba Catholic Church, located at 6401 San Pablo Ave, Oakland, California, 94608. The service will begin at 11:00 AM.
