Earl Finley Obituary
Earl was born in Madison County on July 5, 1951, to Robert Cornett and Averella Hunt Finley. He retired from Spectrum as a Construction Engineer after 45 years of service in the industry. He loved hunting, horse riding when younger and "piddling on the farm." You often see him sitting on his front porch waving to neighbors as they passed.
On October 20, 1989, Earl united in marriage to Connie Humfleet Finley who survives.
He is also survived by his daughter: Linda Michelle Lefurgy of Richmond and Barton (& Marlena) Brock, one brother: William Harrison "Bill" (& Linda) Finley, seven grandchildren: Kayla Renee Daniel, Haley Renae Brock, Sierra Michelle Lynn Johnson, Trent Ford (& Lennaye) Brock, McKenna Jenay Minix (& Halen Stamper,) Breanna Brock and Dakota Wayne Patrick and four great-grandchildren: Ayden, Damien, Everleigh and Raelynn and one on the way.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Finley was also preceded in death by his brother, Dale Finley.
Visitation will be held from 2:30 – 4:00 PM Monday, December 29, 2025, at Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home.
The funeral service will begin at 4:00 PM Monday with Rev. Arthur Hunt officiating.
