Nancy Carol Short, 77, of Richmond, the widow of Jesse Short, passed away on Friday, January 2, 2026.
Nancy was the daughter of the late William Algin "Red" Ingram and Jewell Dean Isbell Ingram. She was born in Madison County, Kentucky, on November 23, 1948. She was a 1966 graduate of Madison Central High School and was a retired employee of The Madison County School System. Nancy was a member of The Concord Christian Fellowship Church.
Survivors include her son: Greg Rose (Melissa) of Irvine; four grandchildren: Jessica Rose, Jadyn Rose Lanham (Rhyan), Ted Rose and Madison Rose; two great-grandchildren: Grayson Rose and Oliver Lanham.
In addition to her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Carl Ingram.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Smith, officiating. Burial will follow at Madison Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Monday evening at the funeral home.
Pallbearers are Greg Rose, Harold Hall, Mike Hickam, Garnett Isbell, Ricky Conner and Ted Rose.
Honorary Pallbearers are Donald Ingram, David Ingram and Raymond Conner.
