Kathy Fair Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home on Jan. 7, 2026.
Mrs. Kathy Darlene Isaacs Fair, 69, of Richmond, passed away on Sunday evening, January 4,2026, at Baptist Health – Richmond.
She was born in Richmond, Kentucky on July 15, 1956, and was a graduate of Madison Central High School, class of 1975. Kathy was a dedicated employee of GE until her retirement in 2017, but still enjoyed going out to eat with her work friends. She was an avid shopper and loved looking for deals – Kathy also enjoyed dressing up all classy and her beautiful smile was what will be remembered. If Kathy was out and about you could often find her with a McDonald's diet Coke, or at home, it would be a diet Pepsi, but other than that, her family was what was most important to her and she cherished the moments spent with them.
Kathy is survived by: her husband of 31 years, John Fair; her mother, Melissa Thacker Isaacs; her daughters, whom she often called #1 and #2, Brandy Dunnigan (Timothy), and Amber Parke (Keith); her step-daughter, Shellie Rudd (Jason); her sisters, Marcia Fulkerson (Steve), and Brenda Jo Isaacs (Buddy Cotton); her grandchildren, Kala Nykole Dunnigan, Luis Antonio Perez, Harleigh Kate King, Baileigh Reese King, Ryleigh Brooke King, Ivy Belle Parke, Justin Tyler Dunnigan, Timothy Patrick Dunnigan Jr. (Amanda), Haley Morgan Dunnigan, Addison Kay Parke, Nathaniel Caden Parke, Jordan Coleman Fair, and Aaron Martin Fair; two great-grandchildren, Jack & Trip Dunnigan; a special friend, Mary "Tootie" Fields; as well as a host of other extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ivan Isaacs.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:30 PM Friday, January 9, 2026, at the Combs, Parsons & Collins Funeral Home, W. Main St., Richmond, with Pastor Ed Lainhart & Pastor Keith Parke officiating. Burial will follow in the Richmond Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 11:00 AM Friday, at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be: Tim Dunnigan, Keith Parke, Luis Antonio Perez, Ivan Daniel Fulkerson, Kenny Fair and Aaron Fair.
Honorary Pallbearer will be Steve Fulkerson.
