Wesley Logan Collins

Mr. Wesley Logan Collins, 80, of Georgetown, passed away on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at his home.
He was born in Richmond, Kentucky on June 14, 1945, the son of the late Vannie & Dorothy Masters Collins. Mr. Collins was a retired groomer and stable hand for Castleton Farms & du Pont Farms and had a great reputation for being knowledgeable with foaling. He also was avid with wood working and enjoyed reading books – he liked to learn a little something about almost everything. Most of all, Mr. Collins was a dedicated American. He loved his country and was a proud veteran having honorably served his country in the US Army.
Survivors include: his daughters, Kimberly Chandler (John), and Gina Collins-Wesley; his wife, Brenda Banks; his grandchildren, Benjamin Wesley (Lizzy), Brenna Otis and Emma Chandler; his nieces & nephews, Jonathan Case, Jennifer Case-Combs (Rob), Steve McElroy, Susan McElroy-McKee, Ola Mae Shepherd, Mary Shepherd; his "adopted" brother whom he was raised with, Paul Perkins, and his daughters, Morgan, Megan & Mckenzie; his special dog, Rowdy, who he always called "his boy"; as well as a host of other extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: two sisters, Janice Hawkins & Sharon Case, and one nephew, Charlie Shepherd.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at 12:00PM (Noon), at the Richmond Cemetery, (Section X), with full military honors.
