Earl Guy 57, lovingly known as "Earl the Pearl" passed away peacefully at his home on October 19, 2025. He was born on November 28, 1967 in Bristol, Pennsylvania the son of Herbert and Marilyn ( Rodger ) Guy.

Earl grew up in Bristol surrounded by his parents, four sisters, a close- knit circle of aunts, uncles, cousins, and his beloved grandmother. At the age of 10 Earl and family moved to Springfield, Vt. where he has resided since. He attended Park St. School, Riverside Middle School and graduated from Springfield High School class of 1985, and later graduated from Johnson & Wales with an Associates Degree.

From an early age, Earl showed a natural curiosity and a talent for all things mechanical. He had a lifelong love for motorcycles – riding them, fixing them, and sharing that passion with friends and family. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodworking.

Earl taught skiing and snowboarding at Magic Mountain in Londonderry, with his cousin Nate.

Earl worked in Logging and Construction for many years in the Springfield and surrounding areas. He worked at Cavendish Game Birds and Green Mountain Sealcoat and many odd jobs over the years. He was a hard worker in spite of his many medical issues.

Those who knew Earl will remember his big heart, his quick wit and his willingness to lend a hand whenever someone needed it. He lived life with grit, humor and a deep appreciation for family and friends.

He is survived by three sisters; Victoria , Margaret , and Wendy . He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by his parents and by one sister Patricia G. Russell.
