Earl Stanley Helinski, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on November 20th, 2025, at the age of 92. Earl, a man of great character and kindness, was born on November 25, 1932, in Milwaukee (in the same home he resided in till he entered into hospice care). He spent his life building a legacy of love and dedication that will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Earl was the beloved husband of Jean Helinski, with whom he shared a beautiful and enduring marriage of 68 years. Together, they raised three wonderful children: Robert (Chris) Helinski, Kenneth (Robin) Helinski and Linda Boehme (Keli). Earl's joy was multiplied by his grandchildren, Daniel, Crystal (Shane), Bradly (Heather), Kelly, and further blossomed with the arrival of his great-grandchildren, Mason and Josh. Though Earl was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Otto, his sister Evelyn, his twin sister Ethel, and stepsisters, Bernice and Arleen. He leaves behind treasured memories that continue to warm the hearts of his family, including many nieces and nephews who adored their Uncle Earl.
Before retiring, Earl dedicated many years of hard work as a dump truck driver and later at Briggs and Stratton, where he was highly respected by his colleagues. His strong work ethic and commitment to his job were only matched by his devotion to his family.
Earl's interests were a reflection of his joyful spirit and love for life. He was an avid bowler, a hobby that brought him much happiness and a fair share of trophies. Fishing was another pastime that Earl held dear, often sharing this tranquil experience with his children and grandchildren. A fan of the classic Westerns, Earl never tired of watching his favorite actors, John Wayne and Audie Murphy grace the screen with rugged charm. Additionally, his Leon super sundaes were a treat he'd never say no to. He cherished these memories and moments spent surrounded by friends and family.
Family gatherings were Earl's greatest delight. His presence at these events were always marked by a smile that could light up the room and, on occasion, tears of joy that spoke volumes of the love he had for his family. Earl was a man whose loving nature, selflessness, and kindness were the cornerstones of his being. He had the rare ability to make each person feel special and valued.
Earl's passing has left a memorable mark on the lives of those who knew him. Yet, it is with a sense of profound gratitude that his family and friends celebrate his life and legacy, which will continue to inspire and guide us all. As we bid farewell to this remarkable man, we take solace in the memories that will forever keep him alive in our hearts.
A special thank you to the entire staff at Southpointe Care & Rehab Center (Especially Peter) for all the care and compassion that was shown towards Earl and our entire family. Also, to the Aurora Hospice Care Team, they were all a blessing to us.
Visitation will take place on Saturday December 20, 2025, from 1:00 PM until time of Service at 3:00 PM at CHURCH AND CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME 15250 W. National Ave.
