Earl Marshall Obituary

Earl Marshall was born in Atlantic City, NJ in 1947. During his teenage years, he relocated to Cleveland, OH, where he enlisted in the US Navy – a decision inspired by his family's legacy of service. Marshall's grandfather served in WWI and his father served in WWII. Earl proudly continued the tradition, spending 20 years in the Navy and traveling the globe, including time stationed in the Mediterranean, Caribbean and Panama.
After retiring from the Navy at just 37, Earl earned degrees in Business Administration and Computer Science from Texas A&M. With his new degree, he worked as a tax auditor, a HS teacher, and trained criminal investigators in St Paul. Following his second retirement, Earl spent his time in the Twin Cities area where he enjoyed spending time with children and grandchildren.
Earl passed away peacefully on October 5, 2025.
The family requests in lieu of flowers that memorials be sent to Lighthouse Beginnings in Baxter, MN.
