In Loving Memory of Earl L. Pittman Jr.
July 31, 1962 – June 25, 2025
Earl L. Pittman Jr. passed away peacefully on June 25, 2025, in Milton, Florida, while in the care of PruittHealth. Born and raised in McLellan, Florida, Earl was the eldest of five children born to Earl and Jean Pittman.
He later settled in Milton, where he built a life and raised a family of his own. Earl was a man of many talents and skills-a provider, protector, and friend to many. His strength, character, and quiet wisdom left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
Earl was preceded in death by numerous beloved family members who now welcome him home.
He is lovingly survived by his devoted wife, Damita Pittman; three children: Dillia Melton, Derek McCall and Derrel Pittman; five cherished grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members who will carry his memory forward with love.
Earl's presence will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who were blessed to know him.
A visitation will be held on Monday, June 30, 2025, from 10:00 AM until the start of the funeral service at 11:00 AM at Lewis Funeral Home in Milton, Florida. A graveside service will follow at 1:00 PM at Foster Family Cemetery in Munson, Florida.
The family would like to extend heartfelt appreciation to Emerald Coast Hospice for their compassionate care and support, with a special thank you to Mrs. Colleen, Earl's dedicated nurse at PruittHealth, for her kindness and attentive care in his final days.
