Earl L. Soper Sr.

Earl L Soper Sr., 88, passed away on April 18, 2024. He was born on March 23,1936 in Orland the son of Reynold and Thema (Gross) Soper. He graduated from Bucksport high school. Earl joined the navel reserves known as the Seabees. He worked at the Bucksport Paper Mill as an electrician for more than 40 years. He enjoyed many fishing and hunting trips in his beloved state of Maine. Earl was very proud of his family and enjoyed all the family gatherings.
He is going on to join his wife of 50 plus years Frances Soper. He is survived by his two sons Earl Soper Jr. and Dennis Soper and wife Arlyn of Orland. His two daughters Bobbi and husband Russel Lake of Eddington, Louise, and husband David Lowell of Searsport. His grandchildren Earl's children Blake and Noel, Dennis's children Sheena, David, Joesph, and Dylan, Bobbi's children Amber, and Amanda, Louise's children Eric, Arron, Ben, and Nicole and several great-grandchildren. His sister-in-law Mary Soper and her daughters Debbie Consalvo and Betty Robershaw.
He is predeceased by his parents, two brothers, John Soper, Everette Soper, and sister Janette Montgomery.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday April 27, 2024, at 10am at Evergreen Cemetery Upper Falls Road Orland. A celebration of life will follow immediately after at the Elm Street Congregational Church brown hall 31 Elm Street Bucksport.
