Richard Paul Soper

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rick Soper, a beloved father, grandfather, brother and friend. Rick's gentle spirit and vibrant personality will be missed by all who knew him.

Richard Paul Soper was born on December 17, 1959, to parents Don and Jackie Soper. He is survived by his children Tonya Pickett and Rob Brinkman and their spouses, Jake Pickett and Colleen Bitzer. Rick was the proud grandfather of Beau and Lily Pickett and Colton and Hudson Brinkman. He is also survived by his brothers Steve and David and their wives, Dana and Laura, and several nieces and nephews.

Rick was a graduate of Madeira High School and the Ohio State University where he majored in marketing and statistical analysis. He spent his career in marketing and sales and as owner of Hardware House Technologies.

Rick lived a very full and adventurous life traveling with friends on his motorcycles and hanging out at Lake Waynoka. Family, friends and dogs were his passions. He will be missed by all of us.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Rick's life on Sunday November 23, 2025, from 1:00-4:00 at Maketewah Country Club, 5401 Reading Road, Cincinnati, OH 45237. Please bring memories or stories to tell in Rick's honor.
