Peter Francis Towhey

It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Peter Francis Towhey

On November 11, 2025 at the age of 37. He is survived by his Mother Cynthia Reginelli Towhey And his father, Tom Towhey. His aunts Beth Reginelli, Nancy Reginelli, Ann Reginelli, Susan Reginelli, Susan Hoffard, Kathie Cooper and Uncles Ross Cooper and Jack. Also survived by many cousins and extended family.

Pete attended Madeira high school and studied at the University of Cincinnati. He was a skilled technician and worked with neurologists at both UC Health in Cincinnati and the University of Chicago Medical Center for several years.

Pete was a talented cook and was a Pit master on the grill.

He enjoyed preparing meals for family and friends.

Pete was a voracious reader, especially of various philosophers, and enjoyed explaining and debating these concepts with family and friends.

Pete was an avid hiker and truly enjoyed hiking, exploring, camping and communing with nature especially in the mountains.

Pete brought so much love, joy, beauty, wisdom and laughter into our world. He will be missed terribly.

His light and love will continue through those who knew him.

A visitation will be held on December 12, 2025 at Evans funeral home in Milford from 6 to 8 PM. Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration to honor Pete short and beautiful life.
