Mr. Earl Levi Tulbert, age 78, of Windsor Road, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 20, 2026.
Mr. Tulbert was born April 3, 1947, in Surry County to the late E. Levi Tulbert and Edna Couch Tulbert Cranfill. A man known for his strong work ethic and dedication, he retired after many years of service as Right of Way Supervisor with the Town of Elkin.
Earl had a deep love for the open road and cherished the time spent riding motorcycles with friends. His faith was an important part of his life, and he was a faithful member of St. Paul United Methodist Church. Above all else, Earl was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather. His family was his greatest joy, and he took pride in being actively involved in each of their lives, always offering his support, encouragement, and love.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Tracy Levi Tulbert.
Those left to cherish his memory include his beloved wife, Frances “Kay” Ring Tulbert; his children, Kent Tulbert and wife Christina, Pam Tulbert, Dana T. Brown and husband Dwayne; his grandchildren, Levi Tulbert, Cody Vestal, Drake Tulbert, Tyler Brown, Ryan Tulbert, Andrew Tulbert, Erin Tulbert, and Caden Brown; his great-grandchildren, Christian Tulbert, Noah Tulbert, Lexi Tulbert, Lindsay Tulbert, Remi Vestal, Rylie Vestal, Kayleigh Tulbert, Spencer Tulbert, Wyatt Tharington; and his sisters, Sarah T. Richards and Shonnie T. Thompson.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 PM Friday January 23, 2026 at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Hamptonville. His funeral service will follow the visitation at 4 PM Friday in the church with Rev. Greg Freeman officiating. Interment will follow the service in the church cemetery.
Earl Levi Tulbert will be remembered for his kind heart, quiet strength, unwavering faith, and the deep love he had for his family. His legacy lives on through the many lives he touched and the family he cherished so dearly.
