Faye Norman Tulbert, 60, of Olin, a beloved caregiver and free spirit, passed away on November 2, 2025, at Iredell Memorial Hospital following a period of declining health. Born on April 23, 1965, in Iredell County, North Carolina, she spent her life dedicated to caring for others, making a significant impact as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Faye was known for her wonderful nurturing abilities and a big heart that embraced anyone in need, often prioritizing the well-being of others above her own.
Faye was a vibrant personality who loved life and enjoyed a good laugh. She possessed a fun-loving spirit that resonated with those around her, enriching the lives of her family, friends, and co-workers. Her affinity for music was diverse and deep, reflecting her love for its ability to uplift and connect people. Additionally, Faye was an avid fan of the Fast and Furious movie franchise, often sharing her enthusiasm for these films with those closest to her.
Her educational journey took her through Forbush High School, where she undoubtedly made lasting impressions that would follow her into adulthood. Faye attended the West Yadkin Assembly of God, where she found community and fellowship.
Faye leaves behind her son, Jesse Tulbert, and his wife, Diana; two grandchildren, Gabriel "Jordan" Moore and Justin Quinn Moore; two brothers, Cicero Norman and his wife Teresa, and Bobby John Norman and his wife Angela; a sister, Deborah Taylor; as well as many nieces and nephews, including Elizabeth, Bonnie, Christina, Sarah, Chris, Mikey, and Timothy. She also held dear her best friend, Sharon Booe, along with numerous other family members and friends who will forever treasure her memory.
Faye joins her father, Henry Lyndolph Norman; mother, Betty Bost Norman; daughter, Rebecca Hayworth; and brother, Dwayne Fulton Norman, who preceded her in death.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Faye's life at a visitation held on November 14, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Nicholson Funeral Home, located at 135 E Front St, Statesville, NC, 28677. Faye Norman Tulbert will be remembered not just for her kind deeds and loving nature, but as a shining light whose spirit will continue to inspire and heal in the hearts of those she touched.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Nicholson Funeral Home to help the family with funeral costs.
