William Clifton Obituary
Bill was born on December 21, 1952 in to parents Winford and Mary Clifton. He was a graduate of Forbush High School and also attended Wilkes Community College. He served his country faithfully as a proud member of the US Air Force, the NC National Guard, as well as the US Army. He retired from Goodyear after many years of service. He was a long time member of the Post 45 American Legion as well as a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, Mr. Clifton was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Clifton as well as his son, Andy Moore.
Bill is survived by his grandson, Justin Moore and wife Katlyn of Lexington, and great-grandson, Jackson Moore.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, February 5, 2026 at Randolph Memorial Park with Rev. Wayne Bryson officiating.
