Earl Walters Obituary
He was born on January 16, 1932 in South Beloit, IL, the son of Fred and Leona (Korb) Walters. Earl was a 1951 Beloit Memorial High School graduate. He was a veteran of the United States Navy.
Earl was formerly employed by Gardner Machine until his retirement in 2004. He was part of the USS Midway battle group assigned to the Midway. Earl also enjoyed gardening, collecting model cars, and model ships that he had sailed on. He loved working in his yard when he was younger, enjoyed in sharing his life stories, listening to music on his radios, and watching the birds at his window and horses. Earl was able to take care of his mother until her passing. He proudly called himself "Earl the Pearl" from his many trips to Hawaii.
Earl was predeceased by his parents.
Per his wishes, a graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 in Clinton Cemetery, with Chaplain Mark Maxted officiating.
