Duane Enright Obituary
He was born on December 8, 1939 in Burlington, WI, the son of Willard and Roselene (Carruthers) Enright. Dewey was a Clinton High School graduate. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Dewey married Sandra Wicks on September 20, 1968 in Rockton, IL.
Dewey was formerly employed by JP Cullen and DebCo Construction as a carpenter. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Clinton; serving as a Deacon as well as a member of numerous committees. Dewey's faith and the Lord were very important and essential in his life. He was always willing to help others. Dewey enjoyed riding motorcycles, going on road trips, and attending his children and grandchildren's sporting events.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Sandra Enright of Clinton, WI; sons, Brian Enright of Clinton, WI and Carl (Courtnay) Enright of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren, Rachel Enright of Port Washington, WI and Brice (Abby) Enright of Denver, IA who affectionately called him "Papa"; brother, Michael (Cheryl) Enright of Janesville, WI; sister, Marcia (Truman) Skoien of Janesville, WI; and brother-in-law, Robin Wicks of Beloit, WI.
Dewey was predeceased by his parents; in-laws, Lee (Mary) Haase; brother-in-law, Bud Wicks; and sister-in-law, Leota Wicks.
A Funeral Service for Dewey will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 3, 2026 in the Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Rd., Beloit, WI. Visitation of Remembrance will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service Saturday in the funeral home. Graveside Service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, January 5, 2026 in Clinton Cemetery.
