Dorothy Earlene Fielder Hinton was born on August 29, 1926 in Hardin County, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Clifford and Nora Morris Fielder.
In 1942, she was united in marriage to R.D. Ford Hinton who preceded his wife in death on March 23, 1986.
Mrs. Hinton enjoyed sewing, cooking, working in her garden, and spending time with her family. She was of the Church of Christ belief.
Dorothy Earlene Fielder Hinton departed this life on August 3, 2025 in Savannah, Tennessee, at the age of 98 years, 11 months, and 5 days.
She is survived by her daughters, Nelda Morene Hinton, Caroline Sparks, and Connie Hawthorne; son, Mark Hinton; and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Dorothy was preceded in death by her son, Randall Hinton; daughters, Mauvelene Hinton and Eveline Hinton; and 2 grandchildren.
