Earlie Davidson Obituary

Earlie Mae Davidson peacefully passed away on August 14th, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on October 9th, 1939, in Deland, FL, to the late Maryland and Emma Williams. Earlie grew up in Immokalee, FL, and went on to raise four children, serve the church, and cook for the whole neighborhood in the snap of a finger.

Earlie Mae spent her life in domestic work, caring for families with the same love and attention she gave her own. Her hands worked tirelessly, her heart gave freely, and her presence brought comfort wherever she went.

She was united in marriage to the late JB Davidson Sr. She was the proud mother of four children who preceded her in death: Cynthia Perry, Steve Davidson, Pee-Wee Davidson, and Nookie Davidson.

She leaves to cherish her memory to her two younger siblings: Novella Williams and Pastor Leon Williams; nine beloved grandchildren: Rodney (Amy) Handy, Janiecee Perry, Jerrod Perry, Jamaal Metu (preceded in death), Jerron Perry, Steve Davidson Jr, Joshua Davidson, JB Davidson, and Jalen Davidson; nine great-grandchildren: Brianna Handy, Janard Handy, Darius Kennedy, Alex Leggett, Janaiyah Perry, Jaylin Perry, Jayda Perry, and Jaxson Perry; and three great-great grandchildren: Jalen, Jayla, and Maliyah; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who loved her dearly.

She will be remembered for her unwavering strength, her wisdom, her faith in God, and the way she gave love through action; whether it was through a warm meal, a kind word, or simply being there when someone needed her most. In her final days, she left her family with words that reflected the faith she carried throughout her life: "God's gonna give me the strength" and "Everything will be alright." Those words, and the life she lived, will forever echo in the hearts of those who loved her.

With gratitude, the family acknowledges her beloved companion, Danny Summerlin, and Ms. Lawanna, whose kindness and presence were true blessings in her life.
