Earline Walker Boone

Earline Walker Boone, 98, was born on February 16, 1924 and passed away peacefully on January 2, 2023. A service will be 11am Saturday, January 7, 2023, at Oakdale Baptist Church with visitation starting at 10am. There will be a 2:30pm graveside service at Rose Hill Cemetery in Brookhaven, MS.
Mrs. Boone worked in retail as an Office Manager in Brookhaven and Pascagoula, MS. Earline was extremely talented in various hobbies, such as, ceramics, painting, and crocheting. Earline and her husband, Clyde enjoyed many years of square dancing. After retirement she led an extraordinary life that involved traveling the World. She was very active in Bogue Chitto Baptist Church and Oakdale Baptist Church.
Earline was preceded in death by her parents, Lonnie and Chrischania Walker; her husband Robert Clyde Boone; a daughter, Marrietta Cummings; a son-in-law Buzzy; and her brother, Edward Earl Walker.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Ginger Jenkins (John), LaNelle Huffty (Billy), and Jeralyn Scroggins (Ronnie). She was also the proud grandmother, of seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and six great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Oakdale Baptist Church Building Fund.
