Earlene Sims was born on January 6th, 1970, in Kansas City, Kansas, the youngest child born to James Donaldson and Charlene Henderson. She was adopted by her Aunt Marion Sims who raised her as her own.
Earlene departed this life on September 6th, 2024, at the age of fifty-four.
She was a lifelong resident of Kansas City, Kansas, graduating from Schlagle High School.
Earlene was baptized at an early age under the leadership of Pastor T.L. Pleg, Emmanuel Temple, KCKS. She then moved her membership to the Evangelistic Center under the leadership of Bishop Jack Vaughn.
Earlene was employed with Go Chicken Go and McDonalds until her health began to fail.
Earlene loved her girls Airaka and Airielle and her grandbabies. Before her health declined, she loved to cook, dance, listen to music, hand out with her family and friends. She was a people person, accepting everybody.
Earlene is preceded in death by her mother, Charlene Henderson, and father, James Donaldson, brother Terry Henderson, adopted Mother Marion Sims and grandson, Prince Wilson.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories, two daughters: Airaka Wilson and Airielle Sims; son-in-law, Walter Robinson Sr.; a host of grandchildren; one sister, Linda Henderson-Berry (Eddie Berry); four brothers, Tyrone Henderson, Charles Henderson, James Henderson, and James Donaldson; adopted, Louise Hodges (Jarmille Griffin), Shanda Hodges, Linda Wright, and a host of other family members, relatives and friends.
