Earnest Ray Shoemaker, 82, of Winnsboro, LA was born on November 8, 1942, in Oklahoma City, OK to the late John and Ella Stewart Shoemaker and died on July 17, 2025, at the Plantation Manor in Winnsboro, LA.
Mr. Shoemaker is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, John Melvin Shoemaker; one sister, Anna Kay Kelley and brother-in-law, Gene Kelley.
Survivors include his three sisters, Melba Leonard and husband, Jim of Aurora, CO, Joy Light of St. Louis, MO, and Linda Dildine and husband, Larry of St. Louis, MO; one brother, Phillip Shoemaker and wife, Beth of Winnsboro, LA; sister-in-law, Alice Shoemaker of Douglasville, GA; loving nieces and nephews, great great nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, July 21, 2025, in the chapel of Cornwell Funeral Home in Dardanelle, AR with Kevin Trantham officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Dardanelle, AR.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Sunday, July 20, 2025, at Cornwell Funeral Home Chapel in Dardanelle, Arkansas.
Memorials may be made to the American Kidney Foundation.
